Take a look at the forum about forms.... http://smnetwork.org/forum/index.php?board=15.0

And try the "search" feature on this website...

i only briefly looked at the link listed and it looks awsome, and i plan on speading too much time looking at how others do their paperwork. when i started out i played on excel and microsoft word trying out different layouts and what order made things easy to find. as long as it looks clean, everything is spelled correctly, and most importantly you can find it quickly and easily you will be and look professional.

well i'm currently enrolled in a stage management Course in college and although the link in which was posted is helpful, you might want to make sure you have all of the essentials that are needed on the forms and always make sure you have plenty of room to write. It is very important to make all things legible. A few other things leave a spot for your notes, the directors notes, record late persons to rehearsals etc.. and record minutes that looks extremely well and shows organization... and i don't want to get repeatitive and explain things that have already been explained to you so i hope that this has given you a little insight and if you have any other questions i'm sure they'll be answered :)

That is really weird because I am stage managing Rumors right know! If you have any questions about the show let me know. What I found to be really useful is the books that are out there for Stage Management. Go to Barnes and Noble and look up Stage Management. Its a yellow book and there is a lot of good books.

I believe you are referrring to Daniel Ionazzi's book: The Stage Management Handbook. It's a good resource. I just thought I would give you the name of the book to make it easier to find. There are a lot of good stage mangement books out there for differing levels. Some are for more advanced levels.

You can find Forms on the callboard, and you can also go through and look at all the different posts.  There are several, even in just this section, about professionalism and what you can do to be a good stage manager in these types of situations.  Best of Luck!
"Perhaps, therefore, Stage Managers not only need to be calm and meticulous professionals who know their craft, but masochists who feel pride in rising above impossible odds."
