Do you know if SCAD (Savannah School of Art and Design) has a SM program?

Rutgers!

I know SCAD has a theater program, but one of my friends who went there told me their credit's dont transfer. be careful about going there, if you don't like it, you have to start over from scratch

Remember, Yale School of Drama is the graduate school. Yale College only offers Theater Studies, which is a general study of theater, not technical theater specific. Also, I'm under the impression that it's more geared towards actors/directors, but I could be wrong.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor also has a Theater Design & Production department, which I will be going to this fall.

I'm currently a student at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and I highly recommend it!

I don't know much about Kalamazoo College's SM program, but I lived and worked in Kalamazoo for awhile.  It's a great town to live in.  Very artsy and there is plenty of theatre to do there outside of the university.

You should definitely keep the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) in mind.  Its a very intense program and they offer talent scholarships to some students.  The facilities are outstanding.  Also, the stage management alumni have gone on to great positions- Broadway, Las Vegas, Radio City, and National Tours, just to name a few.

Good luck with your decision!

I'm an undergraduate departmental representative for the Brandeis theater department, so I can answer any questions you have.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has a excellent program for Undergrads if you want to receive a BFA. I can tell you more, if you are interested. Never hurts to look into other schools, just to see what they offer.
