You should also be careful when you have children/teens in Equity shows, and giving out adult cast member's information to them.

That's when I've ended up with multiple copies - Cast, Children, SM, Production etc.

As to the phone thing. Maybe it's just with technology improvements, but I just create a .csv file from the contact sheet and then import it all into my address book. Then, after a show, I can just delete the group. I agree that I like knowing whose calling me and that my phone is always in my pocket (rather than a contact sheet).

On top of the other contact sheets I also make a quick contact. These days a contact sheet for me can be upwards of 15 pages (with even a smaller show being 5). The quick contact is usually just name, phone, email.
