When you double click to edit the spreadsheet, you can manipulate the size of the viewing window (like cropping).  Whatever is in the window when you go back to Word is what will be displayed...so if you scroll down to empty cells and close it, you'll only get empty cells.

Tried it.  I still get extraneous cells.  (and, everyone, LisaE is who I stole it from...)

You win some, you loose some. That said, you can never have too much information
To the OP as well:

Sometimes along with the house open/PC Speeches up/tune up (if necesary)/db up etc. I've done times of things within the act.  Some examples:

1)  how long Ms. X and Mr. X kissed
2)  how long the pause was after line X
3)  how long actor X had to wait for audience laughter before continuing on with the scene.

In a long run...it helps to alleviate some of the boredom -- and gives you something to look forward to every night!

Stage managing is getting to do everything your mom told you not to do - read in the dark, sit too close to the TV, and play with the light switches!

The college I go to Ball State University, requires that we put specific times like that in performance reports.  Although where I am interning does not.  So I think it just depends on the place.
