Hey all,
I recently got back from a festival where I learned a bit about stage managing. I'm actually a pianist, but due to a rather funny story I ended up turning pages, taking notes, running water, etc. during rehearsals instead of actually playing. To be honest, I rather enjoyed it, and the assistant conductor suggested I look into stage management as a career. I'm currently in a bachelor program for piano pedagogy and intend on finishing the program (I'm going into my senior year as it is), but I'd really like to learn more about stage management and how to get into it from here. Any suggestions?
