Hola! Como estamos?! Hello! How are we all doing?!

My name is Erin and I'm a 25 year old non-traditional student at UCSB studying B.A. in Theatre (Direction) with a minor in Black Studies. I got into Stage Management working for a large community theatre company on California's central coast right out of High School and I've been hooked ever since. Took a 6-year hiatus as I built my resume working with several community theatre companies in the Monterey/Carmel/Salinas area and now I've finally returned to school to get my degree--mostly so they can start paying me more ;).

Looking to apply for Internships next year after I graduate, would love to go somewhere else besides Cali. You know, get out there and stuff. Working with an amazing Production Manager here has been so enlightening and I can't wait for the possibilities ahead.

Hey, I graduated from UCSB (class of something about a hundred years ago - which is hysterical, because I returned to UCSB after taking a chunk of time up to finish my degree - including three seasons as PSM at Western Stage in Salinas - plus two years as stage manager at THE GREAT AMERICAN MELODRAMA - crap, we are almost living the same life.)

Welcome to the board.  Do you know WHERE in the world you would like to end up - it might help figuring out where you want to do an internship.
