Hey folks!

My name is Laurel and I just found this forum through a tumblr post. I just graduated from college and I am working as a freelance stage manager in New York City. Currently, I am working on a Fringe show and I am applying everywhere I can find. My favourite playwrights include Shakespeare, Ibsen, Sarah Kane, and Annie Herzog. I love tea, Sondheim, sci-fi (especially Firefly, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Orphan Black), reading, and chocolate.

If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask! I'm excited to find a Stage Managing forum.

Yup, the Backstage Badger tumblr reblogged the recent article from What Should We Call Stage Management. The two posts together have gotten about 250 reblogs and likes. Lots of new members. I like new members. Welcome!
