I am new to the site, and for some reason this tech just like the time. I have been working professionally for 5 years, plus a few summer stocks in college. Always as an SM, but I did dabble in college in all departments. I wanted to get a chance to see everyone's perspective - and I learned that I cannot sew anything more than a hem or a button, despite my best efforts. I am lucky and in the last years found a home with a company in DC, where I have been acting as both Production Manager and Stage Manager. We do crazy ambitious shows with large casts in a small venue, and that is what I love about the job.
