Work On A Cruise Ship?
« on: Jul 16, 2010, 02:27 pm »
So I was kicking some job ideas around with a friend of mine and the topic of cruise ships came up. I think it would a crazy awesome job, but in my initial digging around the internet - I haven't found much in the way of stage management. Has anyone here done something like that? Know of a place I should be looking?

you might want to spend a few minutes checking around the board before asking any specific questions - here are three topics of discussion on cruise lines, and there are quite a few more - use the search function to find the rest! good luck

If you have any specific questions that haven't been answered in previous posts don't hesitate to ask.  I've been in the cruise industry for a bit over four years and have worked in some capacity with most of the major cruise lines.  I'm actually about to head into the woods for my annual camping trip, so I will not be able to answer you until next Saturday/Sunday at the earliest, so apologies in advance for any delay in response!

I have never done the cruise ship SM thing but lots of others have. Backstagejobs has a post up right now in their forums detailing some cruise ship offers that are scams. Maybe that could help you narrow your search to those companies that are legitimate so you don't waste time and money. Good luck and have fun at sea.
