Defining Work.
« on: Nov 05, 2009, 03:48 pm »
Hello!

I am in the process of updating my resume and am unsure of what category to put this show in.  I was/am the Stage Manager and Company Manager for a new formed dance company.  This was their first show- it was a for-profit show but I did not make any money due to the company just starting out.  I currently have my resume in two sections- educational and professional but as i did not get paid nor was it realted to my university- i'm not sure where this fits or even if its worth putting on there.

Any help/ideas/thoughts would be awesome! Have a great day!

Thanks!!!

Defintely under professional. Just because you didn't get paid doesn't mean it wasn't professional work.

PS - HI KELLY!!!! How are you?!
