Safety Schools

Hey Everybody,

I know that there are many threads in here about colleges...but my request is a tad more specific. I'm going to be a senior in high school this year, and I have my core list of colleges I'm applying to (DePaul, NCARTS, Penn State, BU...), but my college counselor is getting on me to find more 'safety' schools, and I was wondering if you all could help. I know it's kind of hard to find 'safety' schools in our given major, but I'm just looking for somewhere that is easier to get into, perhaps without interviews needed? It doesn't even have to have a SM major, as long as it has a design and production major.

Any help you could give would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Darcy

Florida Atlantic University is near me. It is very good and I think they offer a BFA in theatre. Which may or may not be what your are looking for. But I am certain you can gain design and production experience. As I just posted in another thread, FAU has a locally well know theatre program. Anyone who has seen one of their productions loved it.
